Mod Summary

The mod features 3 game modes:

Campaign
Survival
Free Mode

Each mode is unique and features its own type of gameplay.

Campaign
The campaign mode will feature, just like Left 4 Dead, a number of unique campaigns. Each campaign will follow CJ on his way through the zombie apocalypse throughout San Andreas. While travelling through San Andreas, CJ will meet other survivors who will help you fighting your way through hordes of zombies. The campaign’s purpose is to tell the story of CJ fighting his way to safety.

Note: The campaign mode will not be included in the first beta version!

Survival
In the survival mode you will be dropped in one of the many locations throughout San Andreas where you will face endless waves of zombies. A wave contains around 20 zombies, each wave the zombies will get a little stronger. After 5 waves you’ll get a refill for your basic weapons and after every 10th wave you’ll get a more powerfull weapon like a sniper rifle or M4.

Free Mode
The free mode is by far the biggest part of the mod. Almost all hours of development have been dedicated to this mode. In the free mode you’ll be able to explore San Andreas in the zombie apocalypse. You can choose to help out people, join factions, do missions or simply go shoot the hell out of some zombies!

Left 4 Theft is a major/total modification for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
The mod is slightly based on Left 4 Dead and will bring you the zombie apocalypse in San Andreas. Fight off zombies, explore the infected world, join factions and a lot more!

Version 2.0 Release Notes:

Yet again. months of developing have been put into this final version of Left 4 Theft: San Andreas. This new version features a lot of new missions, locations and features.

Finally, after almost a year of development I can now proudly present the final version of Left 4 Theft. My dream of releasing such a big mod is finally fullfilled and I’m happy to share it with the rest of the world. In this final version you’ll find new content throughout the entire state of San Andreas.

But this is not the end of the development of Left 4 Theft, this version will also serve as foundation for upcoming ‘DLC’ as I’d like to call it. In the upcoming months various mission packs will be released in the form of CLEO scripts. These scripts will add new missions to the game while you can keep playing with your original save game.

I would like to thank everyone who supported the mod by either commenting, tracking or sharing the mod and I’d also like to thank the following people:

Version 2.1 will have some minor changes and additions, here’s a small list:

Fixed the (random) crashes in San Fierro and the Offensive #2.
Fixed some other bugs I came across.
Added two extra models including one for the upcoming mission packs.
Zombies now make sounds. (As far as you can call it proper sounds)
